A bit too much for me. :) Very nice review.Sophia (FV)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14464453152431010339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507212620890978766.post-85991560036403113982010-01-18T20:47:20.475-05:002010-01-18T20:47:20.475-05:00Hilcia - Oh yeah, I am sure this writing style wou...Hilcia - Oh yeah, I am sure this writing style wouldn't be for everyone. There is a lot of drama and the men are very high handed. Reminds me of the books from the early 90s.Jill D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10994157783980931093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507212620890978766.post-10916049837960189022010-01-18T08:29:19.265-05:002010-01-18T08:29:19.265-05:00Jill, I don't know? He and his wife end up working through things.

Holly - I am glad to get another opinion from someone who has read the previous books. I honestly and still interested in reading the other books. Johnston seems like a fine writer and her style appeals to me. Sorry it was such a bummer of a book for fans of the series, though.Jill D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10994157783980931093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507212620890978766.post-28909053590470490842010-01-17T15:49:34.663-05:002010-01-17T15:49:34.663-05:00I was wondering if people who don't read this ...I was wondering if people who don't read this series would enjoy this book. I decided not to read it after Casee's review, because like her I've read all the previous novels and expected Kate and Jack to end up together.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. The series is so good in the beginning, but I think she lost her edge somewhere around the 6th or 7th book.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09750929058018343501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507212620890978766.post-33443297168710191122010-01-17T09:14:12.565-05:002010-01-17T09:14:12.565-05:00Hmmm, never read this author. In a way, you're right, you're quite lucky not having read the previous books...

Ugh, I dislike this - man divorcing and already having his back-up waiting for him... It's even worst when the reason he's divorcing is tragedy. Ugh.nathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02626894830238717124noreply@blogger.com
