Romantic Times Convention Coverage

I didn’t go to the Romantic Times Convention in Pittsburgh but I have been following the coverage throughout various websites the past week. It seems a lot of very interesting things happened over the course of the week; a few of them involving the police, if you can believe that. I just thought I would compile a grouping of links for those of you who are interested.

First off the official blog of the RT convention can be found here. They actually have three videos hosted by the authors Marianne Mancusi and Liz Maverick. The videos are a hoot you have to watch them! I myself was mystified by the costumes for the Fairy Ball.

Next up Smart Bitch Sarah attended the conference and has a series of posts about her experience. She has the dirt on an argument that broke out between to well known authors plus lots of pictures. (The juicy gossip is in the last link).

Romantic Times Day!

Lunch: Tasty WTF, Mmm mmm.
Breakfast with Lisa Jackson

Blind Items from RT

Next we will head on over to The Good, The Bad The Unread where author Lynne Connolly reports on her RT experience.

RT 2008: First Impressions
RT 2008: Romantic Times Day Two
RT 2008: And on the third day….
RT 2008: Go for the Burn!
RT 2008: And so to the cover model contest!
RT 2008: The last day… and a bit of model madness

Author JC Wilder has several posts about her experience at the convention.

RT: Day One – Camping
Day 2 – The Battle has Begun!
Day 3 – The Shame Continues…
Day 4 – The Lull Before the Storm
RT – Comment on previous statement
Now approaching the finish line…
RT…the last gasp…
RT – the pieces that get stuck between your teeth

This is a really neat reporting of the convention by a Pittsburgh magazine. Melody Platz an aspiring author writes about her experience of the RT convention over the week. Her account is gossip free, but gives a good indication of what to expect if you are thinking of attending.

If I come across any other links, and I am sure I will, they will be added to this post.

Katie, Oh you definitely have to report on RWA. You are going to have so much fun and I am going to live vicariously through you!

Melody, Hi and welcome to my blog! I read your account on RT and found it to be very informative. I plan to attend next year and it helps to know what to expect.
